Lauderdale County Guardianship Clinic: 

The Lauderdale County Bar Association, in partnership with the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project (MVLP), will be hosting a Guardianship Clinic at the MSU-Meridian Khalmus Auditorium, located at 1000 Hwy 19, Meridian, MS 39307, on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Local attorneys will assist pro se litigants in preparing the necessary documents needed to obtain a guardianship of the person of a minor child.  Potential guardians are asked to bring the child’s birth certificate; existing child support/visitation/custody/guardianship orders; DNA testing relating to the child; and a copy of your driver’s license or state-issued ID.

Access to the legal community is critical to those who cannot afford it, and Law Office of Stella M. Hurtt, PLLC is happy to assists with this event.
